Blood Glucose Level (BGL) Screening
A simple finger-prick blood glucose test performed by our pharmacists to check your blood sugar levels. This screening can help identify whether your glucose levels are within a healthy range and whether further assessment by your GP may be needed. Suitable for those concerned about diabetes risk or wanting to monitor their glucose levels.
Blood Pressure Screening
A quick and convenient blood pressure check performed by our qualified staff. High blood pressure often has no symptoms, so regular monitoring is an important part of maintaining your cardiovascular health. Our pharmacist will take your reading, discuss the results with you, and advise whether a follow-up with your GP is recommended.
UTI Management
Our pharmacists can assess and manage uncomplicated urinary tract infections (UTIs) in eligible patients under New South Wales' Pharmacy Scope of Practice. Following a brief consultation, our pharmacist may supply a short course of antibiotics without a GP visit, saving you time and getting you feeling better sooner. Plaque Psoriasis Management
Our pharmacists can assess and manage mild to moderate plaque psoriasis in eligible patients under New South Wales's Pharmacy Scope of Practice. Our pharmacist may recommend or prescribe suitable topical treatments following a consultation. Note: The cost of any medication supplied is additional to the consultation fee. Conditions apply
Oral Contraceptive Pill (OCP) Continuation
If you have run out of your oral contraceptive pill prescription, our pharmacists can supply a continuation of your current OCP under New South Wales's expanded scope of practice. Impetigo Management
Our pharmacists can assess and manage mild to moderate impetigo (school sores) in eligible patients. Following a consultation, our pharmacist may prescribe topical or oral antibiotics as appropriate, without requiring a GP visit. Shingles Management
Our pharmacists can assess and manage shingles (herpes zoster) in eligible patients. Early antiviral treatment is important to reduce the severity and duration of shingles. Following a consultation, our pharmacist may prescribe antiviral medication without requiring a GP visit. Note: The cost of any medication supplied is additional to the consultation fee. Our pharmacists can assess and manage mild to moderate acne in eligible patients under New South Wales Pharmacy Scope of Practice. Japanese Encephalitis Vaccination
Japanese Encephalitis vaccination is recommended for travellers spending extended time in rural areas of Asia where the virus is present, particularly during the transmission season. The IMOJEV vaccine is given as a single dose for adults, with a booster recommended after 1–2 years for ongoing risk.
Medication Injection
Our pharmacists can administer injections prescribed by a doctor, including vitamin B12, vitamin D, and other prescribed medications. A valid prescription is required. Note: The cost of any medication supplied is additional to the consultation fee.
Typhoid Vaccination
Typhoid vaccination is recommended for travellers to regions where typhoid fever is common, particularly South and Southeast Asia, Africa, and Latin America. Available as an injection (Typhim Vi) or oral capsules.
RSV Vaccination
RSV (Respiratory Syncytial Virus) vaccination is available for adults aged 60 and over to reduce the risk of severe RSV-related lower respiratory tract disease. A single dose is required.
Hepatitis A Vaccination
Hepatitis A vaccination protects against the hepatitis A virus, which is spread through contaminated food and water. Recommended for travellers, and those at increased risk.
Herpes Zoster (Shingles) Vaccination
Shingles vaccination (Shingrix) is recommended for adults aged 50 and over to protect against herpes zoster and its complications, including post-herpetic neuralgia. Two doses are required, given 2–6 months apart.
Hepatitis B Vaccination
Hepatitis B vaccination protects against the hepatitis B virus, which can cause chronic liver disease. A course of 3 doses is typically required. Please check with our pharmacist if you need a single dose or a full course.
COVID-19 Vaccination
COVID-19 booster and primary series vaccinations available.
Flu Vaccination
Annual influenza vaccination administered by our certified pharmacists. Protect yourself and your family this season. Flu vaccinations are free for people aged 65 and over, as well as eligible patients.
